The SHARK SIX is a 28-foot Whitewater center console that was custom-built for us in Miamii, FL. A fuel efficient and environmentally friendly 300 hp Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboard provides a cruise speed of 28 mph and a top-end of 40 mph. The boat features a large t-top for protection against sun and rain, a full-height windshield, and is equipped with all required Coast Guard safety gear. Electronics include a Garmin 4212 radar/color chartplotter, Furuno FCV-585 color LCD fishfinder with 1kW transducer, two VHF radios, cell phone, and satellite phone. There is a large above-deck bait well in the stern with viewing window, upholstered seating, plenty of dry storage for jackets, cameras and the like, and a private, push-button electric head (toilet) within the console.
All tackle is provided, and ours is top-shelf and impeccably maintained - Shakespeare Ugly Stik Lite rods with Daiwa, Shimano, and Okuma reels loaded with fresh Sufix Elite monofilament line. We have plenty of light 12-pound and 17-pound class spinning outfits for live- and chunk-baiting, topwater plugging, and working soft-plastic artificials for striped bass We also have light 12-pound plug-casting gear as well as trolling tackle, including lead-core outfits, for those that enjoy these types of fishing. Feel free to bring a fly rod- recommended is a 7-, 8-, or 9--weight outfit with a floating or moderate sink-tip line and 12-pound tippet - and we have a good selection of the hottest striper flies that you are welcome to use. For school bluefin tuna we have 50-pound 2-speed Shimano stand-up outfits, as well as 30-pound Daiwa/St. Croix and Shakespeare spinning combos for casting jigs.
